Shipping Policy

We ship via UPS and USPS. Shipping rates are calculated based on your location and order weight.

• Ground Shipping: $10.89 (AZ, 1-day delivery) or $10.99 (all other states, 3-5 business days). Includes a protective cold pack.
• 2-Day Shipping: $20 flat rate, 2 business days. Includes Melt-Proof Guarantee.
• Overnight Shipping: $30-$50 by weight, next business day. Includes Melt-Proof Guarantee.
• Processing Time: 1-2 business days
• Summer Shipping: Chocolate orders ship Monday and Tuesday only to prevent melting during transit

Melt Policy

The Hippie Chicks Melt Policy — straight talk, no fine print

Chocolate and Arizona summers don't always get along, so here's exactly how we handle it:

2-Day and Overnight orders (Melt-Proof Guarantee):

• If your order arrives melted, email us a photo within 48 hours of delivery and we'll send a free replacement or issue a full refund — your choice.
• One claim per order. Guarantee applies to the first delivery attempt, so make sure someone's around to bring the package inside.

Ground orders:

• Every Ground order ships with a protective cold pack at no extra charge.
• But Ground packages can spend several days in trucks and sorting facilities where we have zero control over temperature. If your chocolate arrives soft or melted after choosing Ground, we truly are sorry — but we can't offer replacement or refund for heat damage on Ground shipments.
• That's exactly why 2-Day and Overnight shipping exist. If your local forecast is above 85°F, faster shipping is the safe choice.

Tips that help either way:

• Ship to an address where someone can grab the package quickly (work is great!)
• Chocolate ships Monday/Tuesday so it doesn't sit over a weekend
• Soft (but not melted) chocolate is still perfectly good — a short chill in the fridge restores the snap

Chocolate Shipping Notice

During hot weather months, we only ship chocolate orders on Monday and Tuesday to avoid products sitting in post office facilities over the weekend. We include cold packs in every order during summer months (May-September) to protect your chocolate.

Returns & Refunds

We stand behind our products. If you're not satisfied with your purchase:

• Contact us within 30 days of delivery at orders@hippiechicks.shop or call 480-628-0881
• Unopened products may be returned for a full refund
• Opened products may be eligible for exchange or store credit
• Chocolate products damaged during shipping will be replaced at no charge

Please note: We cannot accept returns on products that have been consumed or are past the 30-day window.
